I had a lunch meething with some Buddist females at the beautiful Japanese garden hotel.
Here is a lobby at hotel.
In May, It is Tango no Sekku (Boys’ Day) on May 5.
It is the custome of wishing a bo’s health.
Parents display japnese armour and sword, or a Samurai doll equipped with them.
↑ looks strong samurai,,,, but a little scared,,,,
Sometime we put up carp streamers called “Koinobori” at garden.
In May,
we eat rice dumplings wrapped in bamboo leaves or rice cakes wrapped in an oark leaf.
yummy! So even we don’t have any boys children, we love to eat rice cakes in spring season!
